At Eliq, you'll be joining a fast-growing SaaS scale up that helps Enterprise service providers to accelerate the clean energy transition by improving energy efficiency in European homes. Currently, we serve 35+ utilities, banks and technology OEMs with our Open Energy SaaS Platform, offering insights about home energy usage which enable millions of consumers to understand and reduce energy costs and climate impact. We are on a mission to reach 100s of millions of end-customers over the coming years and make a sizable impact on our planet's journey to net zero homes.


The role:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will significantly contribute to the exploration of new markets for Eliq. As part of our New Market team you will play a key role in Eliq’s growth journey, helping to qualify opportunities for our Co-Founder/Director of New Markets and thus will have a major impact on our business development in our 15 European markets (and growing). 


The successful candidate will use creativity and persistence to continuously improve performance as measured by key metrics.


Who You Are:

  • You want to be able to make an impact and not have your ideas filtered through multiple layers of bureaucracy

  • Prior experience as a business development rep with a strong track record of minimum 2+ years of SaaS Business Development experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including high-level communications with internal and external contacts

  • Goal oriented, eager to learn how to increase the strategic pipeline for this team which you will be working closely with

  • Initiative - the desire to achieve and use all means at your disposal to make an impact whilst being comfortable in emerging markets that are characterised by both complexity and a degree of ambiguity.

  • Demonstrate a passion for learning new things and continuous improvement

  • You are fluent in written and spoken in English, ideally in Spanish, German and other European languages are a plus

  • You are based in Europe, preferably in one of our markets. (Nordics, UK, Benelux, France, Spain, Italy, Germany)
